PASTOR
Rev. John Soto

In January 1988 Pastor John Soto
came to Clintonville, Wis. to Pastor the Calvary
Apostolic Church (formerly called Clintonville
Apostolic Tabernacle Church). Pastor Soto and wife
Rosemary, have four children Andrew, Roseanne, Aaron
and La Rita (all married) also six grandchildren.
Pastor Soto was born in Knoxville Iowa and lived in
Iowa most of his life. He assisted in the United
Pentecostal Church in Dubuque Iowa before coming to
Clintonville.
Clintonville is a small farming
community with 4500 residents located about 40 miles
west of Green Bay. Clintonville is a clean and
charming little city with beautiful parks and many
community activities and projects. One such
gathering is the city church service in Olen Park.
Pastor Soto along with local clergy, plan the annual
event to take place every August. Calvary Apostolic
Church is well known for its beautiful spirit filled
music and does the pre-service praise and worship
music for this event. In the past Pastor Soto was
privileged to be the main speaker for this service.
Calvary Apostolic Church broke
ground for a new building in the spring of 1995. We
held our first service on Easter Sunday 1997. It was
a miracle! The building is 10,000 square feet with
an auditorium seating 270. Our Sunday School
department provides biblical teaching for all ages
and also provides nursery care for younger children.
Pastor Soto offers numerous home
bible studies on many subjects and on occasions if
time and weather permits he'll catch a game of golf
at the local Riverside Golf Course.
