September 11th, 2005
was a memorable day for
Calvary Apostolic Church.
Being that our Pastor Aa
ron
Soto would step down from his pastoral position. We
indeed were sadden by his decision,
but he has had a calling from the Lord. Pastor Aaron gave a dynamic sermon.
He spoke about how this was not a end of something,
but that it was the beginning of something great.
That nothing remains the same that God does not want
us to just stay comfortable where we are. God wants
us to grow . Pastor wants us to know that it’s time
to put on a new coat, to take off the old coat .By
this, we are allowing God to do His work through us.
We will certainly miss Pastor Aaron, Heather and the
children. We will pray continually for them. Pastor
Aaron will be evangelizing and speaking throughout
the United States and will occasionally visit until
he has found his calling. Our senior, Pastor John
Soto, whom himself is a dynamic man of God will
continue to lead our church. We must move ahead with
God’s great plans for us; for we cannot stand
dormant and let God’s blessings pass us by.

After the service,
we all enjoyed a nice afternoon dinner in the
fellowship hall. Everyone was in good spirits and
had talked of putting on a new coat. To not remain
the same, to grow through change, because change is
good.

Sunday was also a
very inspiring night. Our Back to School Concert was
a hit. The children and youth’s performance was
fantastic and was such a blessing to everyone that
attended. We had many visitors and I know that many
were touched. God is so good. We must praise Him
every second, every minute, every hour and everyday.
Thanks be to God for all that He has done and for
all He is about to do.

Deuteronomy 28:2 -
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and
overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice
of the LORD thy God.
